Re-LAX... We made it through LAX!

Just BARELY, but we did it! I'm sure we set a new LAX and club record with our logistical precision, and some very helpful Qantas ground staff (apparently Coach Dave had them primed and ready for us) as we made the connecting flight from LA to Miami. The flight had been oversold, so American Airlines (Qantas partner) was doing on-board announcements, asking for passengers to give up their seats for us, bribing them with the next flight out and a $500 bonus. Max Halson got the last seat on the bus (with one of his parents having accepted an upgrade to business class and comfortably on board) and then we were away. PHEW!

The kids have all been GREAT! A bit tired, but having a ball.

Max does his best Marge Simpson impersonation with Perri's travel pillow...

We are in the Miami airport now. Just polished off about 20 pizzas...

The last leg of this journey departs in about 40 minutes for the beautiful Cayman Islands. Have heard that Dave, Ian Crocker and Neil Walker were broadcasting live on Cayman radio today and that Mr. Frankie Flowers has planned an event we'll never forget.
How fortunate and grateful we all are to be part of this excellent adventure!
